The year 2024 marks a breakthrough year inChina's sustainable development information disclosure.Guidelines, manuals, and standards for ESG and sustainabledevelopment information disclosure have been continuouslyissued after solicitation of opinions. As a responsibleenterprise, we not only pursue economic bene?ts but alsoactively respond to societal expectations. We strive to set anexample in corporate governance, environmental protection,and social responsibility, and are committed to building ahigh-quality and sustainable future.Since its establishment, Solex has always emphasized the corevalue of "believing in the power of technological innovation."We regard technological innovation as the cornerstone of theCompany’s development. Based on outstanding technologi-cal innovation, product development capabilities, and theability to understand customer needs, we empower productvalues with intelligence, health, and green solutions, andconduct targeted research and development in technology andproducts. In 2024, the Company’s R&D investment hasreached RMB 225 million, accounting for 7.47% of revenue. Wehave 818 technical personnel and our R&D team is expandingyear by year. As of December 31, 2024, the Company holds1,337 valid domestic and international patents, including 422invention patents and 756 utility model patents. It is worthmentioning that products designed by the Company’s designteam, such as faucets, smart toilets, and water ?ossers, havewon top international industrial design awards, including the"IF Design Award," "Red Dot Award," "IDEA," and "G-Mark." Theeco-friendly plastic shower slide rail won the IDEA Silver Awardfor the ?rst time. As of December 31, 2024, Solex has received170 domestic and international design awards, showcasing theCompany's extraordinary strength in industrial design.
In terms of corporate governance, we have established an ESG governance system, formed a Board Strategy and ESGCommittee, and set up an ESG working group under it. We have clearly de?ned their responsibilities and comprehen-sively planned ESG-related work, creating a vertically and horizontally integrated ESG network across the Company,ensuring that ESG concepts are deeply embedded in every aspect of the Company. At the same time, we are also contin-uously optimizing our governance structure, gradually improving the composition and operational mechanisms of theBoard of Directors, further clarifying the responsibilities and authority of each department, optimizing internal manage-ment processes, and enhancing the Company's operational e?ciency and decision-making execution. Additionally, wehave formulated compliance rules and regulations to ensure the safety and reliability of the Company's business opera-tions. We have strengthened internal audit and supervision functions, and conducted regular compliance reviews of allbusiness activities of the Company to ensure that all operations comply with national laws, regulations, and industrystandards. This e?ectively protects the legitimate rights and interests of the Company and its shareholders, creating afavorable internal environment for the Company's sound operations.In terms of environmental protection, we continue to strengthen our e?orts in energy conservation and emission reduc-tion. By adopting advanced environmentally friendly production technologies and equipment, we have upgraded ourproduction processes. At the same time, we actively carry out pollution prevention and control measures to control theemission of pollutants such as exhaust gases and wastewater and properly dispose of waste to ensure environmentalsafety. Moreover, we are accelerating the use of clean energy, increasing investments in and applications of solarenergy, and gradually achieving a green transformation of the energy structure. In July 2024, the Phase II of the roofphotovoltaic project of the subsidiary Zhangzhou Solex was successfully connected to the grid, achieving photovoltaicpower generation and further optimizing the energy structure.We always uphold our social responsibilities, and make every e?ort to safeguard employees' rights and interests.employee rights and continuously improve our employee welfare system. The Company's main product categories include kitchen & bathroom and health products, beauty and healthproducts, and emerging intelligent health products. Its main business model is the IDM (Innovation Design Manu-facturer) model, where the Company uses its own resources to analyze and study regional market conditions andconsumer demand trends, proposes innovative product concepts, forms complete product planning solutions,and delivers product models, technical modules, or ?nished products containing the Company's patented technol-ogy and creative designs to customers. The eco-friendly plastic shower slide rail "Pioneer Elmo" developedby Solex won the 2024 IDEA Silver Award in the U.S. It uses recycledcomposite plastics as raw materials, maintaining the hardness andtoughness of common plastics, while also setting an example forpromoting resource recycling in the industry. The surface treatmentprocess of this slide rail avoids metal contamination, ensuringlong-term reliability and stability of the product while re?ectingSolex’s dedication to product quality and user experience.
